Title: WATER DEPTH and Other Data from DARSHAK and Other Platforms From Arabian Sea and Others from 19790502 to 19790801 (NODC Accession 8700352)
Abstract: These data comprise XBT and MBT log sheets collected in the Arabian sea
and the Bay of Bengal from May 16, 1979 to August 1, 1979. These data
were collected by the Naval Hydrographic Office during the MONEX-79
cruise. DARSHAK and DEEPAK ships were used to collect the data. 869
stations were sampled. Log sheets were submitted by D. Sugunakara Rao,
Senior Scientist in Government of India.

Supplementary information: Note: Metadata for this accession were extracted from a legacy database
maintained by the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). The
design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content
Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
