Title: Ice type, bird, mammal and other observations from POLAR STAR from 19830112 to 19830123 (NODC Accession 8700152)
Abstract: These data were collected aboard the USCGC POLAR STAR from January 1983 during the ANT 183 and ANT 583 cruises. The following data were collected on these cruises: wind data, weather, swell height, sea surface temperature, ice cover and bird data. The data are reported in file type F033 format. The data were submitted by George Hunt from the University of California.

Supplementary information: Note: Metadata for this accession were extracted from a legacy database
maintained by the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). The

Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
