Title: Historical oceanographic data and climatologies in support of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill event in the Gulf of Mexico (NCEI Accession 0064867)
Abstract: Data products and in situ oceanographic data collected as part of the Deepwater Horizon Event in the Gulf of Mexico (May 2010). The climatological fields detailed here are being released as an experimental version to help with the tracking and understanding the effects of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The fields have not been fully quality controlled and may contain erroneous values. Further, the CTD data from R/V Brooks McCall have not undergone rigorous quality control.
