Title: Temperature measurements from a moored thermistor chain in Mamala Bay, Oahu, Hawaii during 1997-1998 (NODC Accession 0000625)
Abstract: A moored thermistor chain was deployed about a mile south of Honolulu Harbor in waters of about 260 feet depth. The instrument was in operation from August 1997 - November 1997 and May 1998 - July 1998. The data are one-minute samples taken from 18 to 60 m at 3 m depth intervals from 14 thermistors. The purpose of the study was to examine the thermal field in the region south of the Honolulu reef runway near the Sand Island sewage outfall.
