| Abstract: | XCTD and sonar data were collected from submarines in the Arctic Ocean. Data were collected in support of the Scientific Ice Expeditions from 01 January 1993 to 4 June 2001. XCTD parameters include profiles of temperature, salinity, sound velocity, and density. Topsounder data include ice draft measurements made using a high frequency upward-looking, narrow-beam sonar. Bottom soundings were made using a high-frequency, narrow beam sonar. |
