Title: Biological dataset collected from bottle casts from the R/V LAURENCE M. GOULD and the R/V NATHANIEL B. PALMER in the Southern Drake Passage and Scotia Sea in support of National Science Foundation projects OPP 03-30443 and ANT 04-44134 from 2004-02-15 to 2006-08-09 (NCEI Accession 0049902)
Abstract: Ocean biology data were collected in Southern Drake Passage and Scotia Sea during two research cruises supported by NSF awards. These two cruises, namely LMG0402 and NBP0606, were conducted during February to March 2004 and July to August 2006, respectively. Dataset includes concentration of pigments in phytoplankton, particulate organic matter concentration, macronutrients, primary productivity and microbial biomass and productivity.
