The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Current velocity profiles taken by shipboard ADCP collected from the research vessel Laurence M. Gould in Drake Passage from 2019-12-31 to 2020-06-20 (NCEI Accession 0289467)
Abstract: The dataset contains profiles of current velocity taken by ADCP from the research vessel Laurence M. Gould. The data were received, reviewed, and prepared for archival at the Joint Archive (JA) for Shipboard Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (SADCP), a collaboration of NOAA and the University of Hawaii Currents Group. The high frequency samples along with ancillary parameters are provided in the Common Oceanographic Data Access System (CODAS) binary format, from which long- and short-form NetCDF files are made. The long form holds an exact dump of the CODAS set. The short form gives currents in Earth coordinates and select ancillary parameters. The data have been contributed by both US and international organizations.
