Title: Water Quality in Biscayne Bay - Florida from 2021-09-21 to 2021-12-20 (NCEI Accession 0248362)
Abstract: The dataset consists of water quality data collected once a month at 10 inshore stations in Biscayne Bay and 10 offshore stations in Government Cut and on offshore reefs. The data are collected during the 3rd week of every month. These stations overlap with stations that are sampled by FDEP and DERM during the first week of every month. Water quality measurements are taken and samples are collected at surface and bottom for every site. In-situ water quality measurements collected with an EXO include dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, temperature, salinity, pH and depth. Water samples are collected using a horizontal 5L niskin bottle. Samples are filtered and analyzed in the laboratory for nutrients (silicate, nitrite, nitrite+nitrate, ammonia and phosphate) and chlorophyll-a.
