The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: | Biological, chemical, in situ, meteorological, physical and profile data collected by Santander Oceanographic Centre at OceanSITES site SATS from 2018-07-01 to 2020-09-04 (NCEI Accession 0211055) |
Abstract: | Biological, chemical, in situ, meteorological, physical and profile oceanographic data were collected, including AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CHLOROPHYLL A CONCENTRATION, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, WIND DIRECTION and WIND SPEED from moored buoy at the The Santander-Atlantic-Time-Series (SATS) (SATS) using Barometric pressure sensor, C-T recorder, CTD - moored CTD, GPS, Humidity Sensor, Temperature Sensors, anemometer, barometers, conductivity sensor, fluorometer, meteorological sensors, oxygen sensor, pressure sensors, temperature probe and thermistor from 2018-07-01 to 2020-09-04. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC). OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record. |
