| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational data collected aboard the R/V Roger Revelle during cruise RR1304 in the South China Sea (Nan Hai) from 2013-04-26 to 2013-05-05. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS. These data were collected by Louis St. Laurent of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Chiao Ling of CPC Corporation, Po-Yen Tseng of CPC Corporation and Yu-Cheng Yao of CPC Corporation, and by University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of Moorings, drifters, and gliders south of Taiwan - Leg 1. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
