| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the USCGC Healy during cruise HLY1401 in the Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea, and Chukchi Sea from 2014-05-13 to 2014-06-23. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Kevin Arrigo of Stanford University, and by United States Coast Guard as part of Study of Under-ice Blooms In the Chukchi Ecosystem (SUBICE). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
