Title: Biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the KNORR during cruise KN202 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2011-07-23 to 2011-08-05 (NCEI Accession 0178256)
Abstract: NCEI Accession 0178256 includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the KNORR during cruise KN202 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2011-07-23 to 2011-08-05. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen meter and transmissometer. These data were collected by Lee Freitag of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of Persistent Littoral Undersea Surveillance Innovative Naval Prototype (PLUS INP) Sea Trial. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the NSF sponsored Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data.
