Title: Biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS091029SL in the Gulf of Mexico from 2009-10-29 to 2009-11-11 (NCEI Accession 0178250)
Abstract: This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS091029SL in the Gulf of Mexico from 2009-10-29 to 2009-11-11. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen meter and transmissometer. These data were collected by Steven Lohrenz of The University of Southern Mississippi, and by University of Delaware as part of Satellite Assessment of CO2 Distribution, Variability and Flux. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data.
