Title: Underway sea surface temperature and salinity data from thermosalinographs collected from multiple platforms assembled by NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) from 2017-01-01 to 2017-08-05 (NCEI Accession 0165014)
Abstract: This accession contains sea surface oceanographic data in netCDF and ASCII formatted files assembled by the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) from thermosalinographs from 2017-01-01 to 2017-08-05. The data are transmitted to AOML/NOAA in real-time and submitted to a quality control procedure developed at AOML. The data set submitted to NCEI for distribution constitutes the complete data set received by AOML with the corresponding flags after quality control. The measured variables or parameters include conductivity, sea surface salinity, sea surface water temperature (using internal sensor), water temperature (using external sensor, when available), water temperature (using other auxiliary sensor, when available), latitude, longitude and time.
