The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: | Size-resolved mass concentrations of iron oxide aerosols and size-resolved number concentrations of iron oxide aerosols collected from King Air aircraft in Yellow Sea and East China Sea from 2013-02-14 to 2013-03-10 (NCEI Accession 0162201) |
Abstract: | This dataset contains size-resolved mass concentrations of iron oxide aerosols and size-resolved number concentrations of iron oxide aerosols, measured using the modified single-particle soot photometer [Yoshida et al. 2016]. Data were collected from King Air aircraft from ~0.2 km to ~8 km altitude levels over Yellow Sea, East China Sea during the A-FORCE 2013 Winter campaign conducted from 2013-02-14 to 2013-03-10. Please see Table 1 of Kondo et al. 2016 for dates and locations of King Air aircraft flights during the A-FORCE 2013 Winter campaign. Data are in 2 ASCII text files. Data parameters in the FeOxNumber_sizedist_af2013w.txt include mass equivalent diameter of FeOx [nm], mean value of 1-min data of dN/dlogD [#/cm3 @ standard temperature and pressure, standard deviation of 1-min data of dN/dlogD [#/cm3 @ standard temperature and pressure, and number of 1-min data. Data parameters in the FeOxMass_sizedist_af2013w.txt include mass equivalent diameter of FeOx [nm], mean value of 1-min data of dM/dlogD [ng/m3 @ standard temperature and pressure, standard deviation of 1-min data of dM/dlogD [ng/m3 @ standard temperature and pressure, and number of 1-min data.
