The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, dissolved inorganic carbon, pH, alkalinity, temperature, salinity and other variables collected from discrete sample and profile observations using CTD, bottle and other instruments from NATHANIEL B. PALMER in the South Pacific Ocean, Southern Oceans and Tasman Sea from 2014-03-20 to 2014-05-05 (NCEI Accession 0157621)
Abstract: NCEI Accession 0157621 includes chemical, discrete sample, meteorological, optical, physical and profile data collected from NATHANIEL B. PALMER in the South Pacific Ocean, Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) and Tasman Sea from 2014-03-20 to 2014-05-05. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), DELTA CARBON-13, DELTA CARBON-14, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED ORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LIGHT TRANSMISSION, NITRATE, NITRITE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE, SULFUR HEXAFLUORIDE (SF6), TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), Total Dissolved Nitrogen (TDN), WATER TEMPERATURE, nitrous oxide (N2O), pH, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, bottle and transmissometer.

These data were collected by Richard A. Feely of US DOC; NOAA; OAR; Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, Lynne Talley, Andrew Dickson and James Swift of University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Craig A. Carlson of University of California - Santa Barbara as part of the GO-SHIP_P16S_2014 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: GO-SHIP_P16S_2014
