The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: SAMOS project underway oceanographic and quality-controlled meteorological data collected aboard the LAURENCE M. GOULD from 2016-05-01 to 2016-05-31 (NODC Accession 0155505)
Abstract: The data logging system on the LAURENCE M. GOULD recorded underway oceanographic and meteorological data from various instruments while cruising in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 2016-05-01 to 2016-05-31. During this period, as part of the Shipboard Automated Meteorological and Oceanographic System (SAMOS) project, the data logging system sent the data daily via e-mail to Florida State University (FSU), where the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies (COAPS) quality-controlled (QCed) the meteorological data. COAPS submitted three versions of the data to the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI): the original data e-mailed by the data logging system and first-level (automatically and merged) QCed data. NODC Accession 0155505 contains all these data.
