The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Biological, chemical, in situ, meteorological, optical, physical, and profile data collected by National Research Council at OceanSITES site W1M3A from 2004-06-18 to 2022-02-28 (NCEI Accession 0131499)
Abstract: Biological, chemical, in situ, meteorological, optical, physical, and profile oceanographic data were collected, including AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CHLOROPHYLL A CONCENTRATION, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DOWNWELLING RADIANCE, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, INCOMING SOLAR RADIATION, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, OXYGEN - PERCENT SATURATION, PRECIPITATION RATE, RADIATION - TOTAL INCIDENT, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, WIND DIRECTION, WIND GUST, WIND SPEED, and turbidity from moored buoy at the Mediterranean Moored Multi-sensor Array, Western Basin, Ligurian Sea (W1M3A) using CTD - moored CTD, Turbidity Meter, anemometer, barometer, fluorometer, meteorological sensors, pyranometer, and thermistor from 2004-06-18 to 2022-02-28. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC). This dataset includes all of the data that has been provided to NCEI for this site.

OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record.
