The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, dissolved inorganic carbon, pH, alkalinity, temperature, salinity and other variables collected from time series profile observations using Alkalinity titrator, CTD and other instruments from the HERMANO GINES in the Caribbean Sea from 1996-01-12 to 2011-11-18 (NODC Accession 0112926)
Abstract: NODC Accession 0112926 includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and time series profile data collected from HERMANO GINES in the Caribbean Sea from 1996-01-12 to 2011-11-18 and retrieved during cruise CARIACO Time-Series. These data include ALKALINITY, AMMONIUM, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED ORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, NITRATE, NITRITE, PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON, PARTICULATE ORGANIC NITROGEN, PHOSPHATE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, SALINITY, SIGMA-THETA, SILICATE, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), WATER TEMPERATURE and pH. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, CTD, Spectrophotometer for pH measrement and bottle. These data were collected by Yrene M. Astor of Estacion de Investigaciones Marinas de Margarita and Frank E. Muller-Karger and Laura Lorenzoni of University of South Florida as part of the CARIACO_TS data set.

The Global CO2 Time-series and Moorings Project involves international groups from 18 countries who have mounted sensors on moored buoys to provide high resolution time-series measurements of atmospheric boundary layer and surface ocean CO2 partial pressure (pCO2). The CO2 Time-series and Moorings Project is coordinated by UNESCO International Ocean Carbon Coordination Project (IOCCP).
