The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), pH on total scale, total alkalinity, temperature, salinity and other variables, collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V Ryofu Maru CLIVAR Repeat Section P09 cruise in the North Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea and South Pacific Ocean from 2010-07-06 to 2010-08-22 (NCEI Accession 0109921)
Abstract: This dataset consists of biological, chemical, physical and profile data collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V Ryofu Maru CLIVAR Repeat Section P09 cruise in the North Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea and South Pacific Ocean from 2010-07-06 to 2010-08-22. These data include chlorofluorocarbon-11 (CFC-11), chlorofluorocarbon-12 (CFC-12), chlorophyll a, dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), pH on total scale, total alkalinity (TA), temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and Niskin bottles. These data were collected by Hitomi Kamiya and Toshiya Nakano of Japan Meteorological Agency; Pollutants Chemical Analysis Center; Marine Division; Global Environment and Marine Department and Masao Ishii of Meteorological Research Institute; Geochemical Research Department as part of the CLIVAR P09 data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
