The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, salinity and other variables collected from underway - surface observations using Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement and other instruments from the Natalie Schulte in the North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2010-10-01 to 2010-12-08 (NODC Accession 0108233)
Abstract: NODC Accession 0108233 includes chemical, meteorological, physical and underway - surface data collected from Natalie Schulte in the North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2010-10-01 to 2010-12-08 and retrieved during cruise VOS Natalie Schulte Lines. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CARBON DIOXIDE - AIR, CARBON DIOXIDE - PARTIAL PRESSURE - DIFFERENCE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement. These data were collected by Richard A. Feely and Cathy Cosca of US DOC; NOAA; OAR; Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory as part of the VOS Natalie Schulte Lines Data data set.

The Global Volunteer Observing Ship (VOS) Program is coordinated by the UNESCO International Ocean Carbon Coordination Project (IOCCP). International groups from 14 countries have been outfitting research ships and commercial vessels with automated CO2 sampling equipment to analyze the carbon exchange between the ocean and atmosphere.
