The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients and other variables collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V Melville CLIVAR Repeat Sections cruise P02 (EXPOCODE 318M200406) in the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea from 2004-06-15 to 2004-08-27 (NCEI Accession 0108080)
Abstract: This NCEI Accession includes discrete, profile, physical and chemical data collected during the R/V Melville CLIVAR Repeat Sections cruise P02 (EXPOCODE 318M200406) in the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea from 2004-06-15 to 2004-08-27. These data include Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM), delta carbon-13, delta carbon-14, helium, neon and tritium. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, coulometer for DIC measurement, CTD, niskin bottles and others. These data were collected by Dennis Hansell of Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, Andrew Dickson of Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Richard A. Feely of US DOC; NOAA; OAR; Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory as part of the CLIVAR_P02_2004 data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
