The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, dissolved inorganic carbon, alkalinity, salinity and other variables collected from Surface underway observations using Autonomous sensor to measure dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and other instruments from MIRAI in the North Pacific Ocean, Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument and others from 1998-01-31 to 2003-02-12 (NCEI Accession 0080986)
Abstract: This dataset includes Surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from MIRAI in the North Pacific Ocean, Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, Philippine Sea and South Pacific Ocean from 1998-01-31 to 2003-02-12. These data include AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WIND DIRECTION and WIND SPEED. The instruments used to collect these data include Autonomous sensor to measure dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

These data were collected by Hisayuki Y. Inoue of Hokkaido University and Masao Ishii of Meteorological Research Institute as part of the MRI Mirai dataset. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this dataset: MR00K8, MR01K1, MR02K1, MR02K2, MR02K6, MR98K2, MR98test, MR99K1, MR99K6 and MR99K7
