| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the R/V KILO MOANA during cruise KM2316 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2023-10-06 to 2023-10-11. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Karin Bjorkman of The University of Hawai'i System, and by University of Hawaii; Marine Laboratory as part of HOT-345. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
