The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Host-symbiont respiration related to symbiont density; anemones from Key Largo from (AnemoneOA project) on 2016-06-17 (NCEI Accession 0291615)
Abstract: This dataset contains biological, chemical, and survey - biological data collectedat Lewes, Delaware on 2016-06-17. These data include abundance, metabolic_enzyme, and respiration rate. The instruments used to collect these data include Hemocytometer, Microscope-Fluorescence, Optode, PCR Thermal Cycler, Spectrophotometer, and plate reader. These data were collected by Dr Mark E Warner of University of Delaware as part of the "Ocean Acidification: Understanding the Impact of CO2 and Temperature on the Physiological, Genetic, and Epigenetic Response of a Model Sea Anemone System with Different Symbionts (AnemoneOA)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-08-16.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Host-symbiont respiration related to symbiont density; anemones from Key Largo

Dataset Description:
Results of laboratory experiments examining the respiratory capacity in a natural population of the sea anemone Exaiptasia pallida . This dataset details the relationships between host and symbiont respiration per symbiont density. Respiratory demand was assessed by both whole organismal oxygen consumption as well as in vitro mitochondrial activity via the enzyme citrate synthase.
