| Abstract: | This dataset contains data collected on R/V Albatross IV during cruise AL9801 from 1998-01-07 to 1998-01-19. These data include depth. These data were collected by Peter H. Wiebe of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of the "U.S. GLOBEC Georges Bank (GB)" project and "U.S. GLOBal ocean ECosystems dynamics (U.S. GLOBEC)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2020-01-27. The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO: AL9801 acoustic backscatter depths, Georges Bank, 1998. Dataset Description: These depth values were used during the processing of the AL9801 Greene Bomber acoustic returns experiment. They are in meters.
