| Abstract: | This dataset contains biological, chemical, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Roger Revelle during cruise RR1815 in the North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2018-10-25 to 2018-11-23. These data include Nitrate, Nitrite, Oxygen in volts, SiOH_4, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, light transmission (volts), reactive phosphorus (PO4), salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors, sigma-theta, water pressure, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include GO-FLO Bottle, GeoFish Towed near-Surface Sampler, Niskin bottle, and Rinko III ARO-CAV Oxygen Sensor. These data were collected by Gregory Cutter of Old Dominion University, Karen L. Casciotti of Stanford University, and Phoebe J. Lam of University of California-Santa Cruz as part of the "US GEOTRACES Pacific Meridional Transect (U.S. GEOTRACES PMT)" project and "U.S. GEOTRACES (U.S. GEOTRACES)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2020-09-22. The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO: Bottle file from US GEOTRACES PMT (GP15) Leg 2 Dataset Description: Bottle data collected by the GTC (GEOTRACES Trace element Carousel) and ODF (Ocean Data Facility) CTD rosettes, underway, and tow fish on Leg 2 of the US GEOTRACES Pacific Meridional Transect (PMT) cruise (GP15) from October to November 2018.
