The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Full resolution physical trajectory profile data from glider cp_336 deployed by OOI Coastal & Global Scale Nodes (OOI CGSN) in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2018-07-24 to 2018-10-25 (NCEI Accession 0256618)
Abstract: The Pioneer Array is located on the continental shelf and slope south of Martha's Vineyard. The shelf-slope area is home to a highly productive ecosystem, and coincident with a persistent ocean frontal system where heat, salt, nutrients and other properties are exchanged between the shelf and the deep ocean. Data from gliders operating over the shelf contribute to understanding of the frontal system while those over the slope provide information about mesoscale features that may impinge on the front. This dataset contains raw Slocum glider data parsed directly from the native glider file format. No corrections or other quality control algorithms have been applied.

The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) received the data in this dataset from the Integrated Ocean Observing System's National Glider Data Assembly Center (IOOS NGDAC). The IOOS NGDAC received the data in one or more netCDF files comprising an entire glider deployment. The data are measurements of physical oceanographic properties such as temperature, salinity, conductivity, and density. The IOOS NGDAC checked the files for compliance to their netCDF file convention, aggregated the files into a single netCDF file, and then submitted the file to NCEI for long-term preservation. Data files may be either low resolution real-time or full resolution. Full resolution files are designated as "delayed" in the netCDF file name.
