Abstract: This dataset includes physical and profile data collected aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer during cruise NBP1709 in the South Pacific Ocean from 2017-11-23 to 2017-12-09. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD. These data were collected by Paul Matthias of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) Southern Hemisphere Cruise. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.
