| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational, physical, and other data collected aboard the R/V Falkor during cruise FK200930 in the Coral Sea from 2020-09-29 to 2020-11-17. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Mardi McNeil of Queensland University of Technology, and by Schmidt Ocean Institute as part of Northern Depths of the Great Barrier Reef. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The XBT data submitted by the originator represent the raw data suite. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
