| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the R/V Laurence M. Gould during cruise LMG1810 in the South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Ocean from 2018-11-07 to 2018-12-02. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, and GPS. These data were collected by Benjamin Van Mooy of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
