| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational, physical, and other data collected aboard the RV Neil Armstrong during cruise AR49 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2020-12-04 to 2020-12-21. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, GPS, and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Jennifer Miksis-Olds of University of New Hampshire, and by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of ADEON/Jason. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
