Title: Water temperature, salinity, and others collected taken by CTD from the seaglider SG660 in the Southern and South Indian Oceans from from 2019-05-01 to 2019-07-25 (NCEI Accession 0228185)
Abstract: This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and others taken by CTD from the seaglider SG660 in the Southern and South Indian Oceans. These data were collected during the Southern Ocean observations of the submesoscale (SOGOS) project in which two seagliders (SG659 and SG660) followed an argo-biogeochemical float (WMO 5906030) from the Southern Ocean carbon and climate observations and modeling (SOCCOM) program. Data were gridded using optimal interpolation (process described in: http://mooring.Ucsd.Edu/software/matlab/doc/toolbox/datafun/objmap.Html). The seaglider was additionally equipped with an unpumped ct-sail (temperature and salinity), an aanderaa oxygen optode (dissolved oxygen), and an ecolabs puck which collected optical backscatter at two wavelengths and chlorophyll fluorescence. Data are in NetCDF.
