| Abstract: | This dataset includes chemical, navigational and other data collected aboard the USCGC Healy during cruise HLY1302 in the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea and Northwestern Passages from 2013-08-16 to 2013-09-07. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Lloyd Keigwin of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by United States Coast Guard as part of Testing the Northern Route for Younger Dryas Meltwater. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
