| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the Clifford A. Barnes during cruise CB1065 in the Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia from 2017-04-06 to 2017-04-10. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, and oxygen sensor. These data were collected by Janet Newton of University of Washington; Applied Physics Laboratory, and by University of Washington as part of Washington Ocean Acidification Center. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
