| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the USCGC Healy during cruise HLY1601 in the Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea, and others from 2016-07-02 to 2016-08-10. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE and irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Russell Hopcroft of University of Alaska - Fairbanks, and by United States Coast Guard as part of Hidden Ocean 2016: The Chukchi Borderlands. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
