Title: Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity and other hydrographic and chemical variables collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V Knorr cruise KN195 (EXPOCODE 316N20090614) in Bering Sea from 2009-06-14 to 2009-07-30 (NCEI Accession 0189660)
Abstract: This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity and nutrients during the R/V Knorr cruise KN195 (EXPOCODE 316N20090614) in Bering Sea from 2009-06-14 to 2009-07-30. The cruise was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) and supported by numerous agencies and institutions. The CTD operations on the cruise were managed by personnel from NOAA/PMEL in the Eco FOCI program, with technical expertise from Scripps Institution of Oceanography personnel, and deployment assistance from Healy personnel.
