Dauphin Island Sea Lab has partnered with multiple agencies and organizations to provide real-time meteorological and hydrographic data from Perdido Pass, AL. This accession contains meteorological and hydrographic data from Perdido Pass station. Meteorological data was collected every minute and hydrographic data was collected every 30 minutes. Data includes water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, water height, air temperature, relative humidity, solar and quantum radiation, barometric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation amounts. Near real-time data are available in a user-friendly format at www.mymobilebay.com. Informative pop-ups describe each parameter and graphs of each may be displayed for the visitor to the website. Researchers may download the data in a spreadsheet format for further analysis. |
