| Abstract: | This dataset includes chemical, navigational and other data collected aboard the KILO MOANA during cruise KM1222 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2012-10-01 to 2012-10-05. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Tara Clemente of The University of Hawai'i System, and by University of Hawaii; Marine Laboratory as part of Hawaii Ocean Experiment-Dynamics of Light and Nutrients (HOE-DYLAN) XI/ Sea Water Air Conditioning (SWAC-1). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
