Title: Underway sea surface temperature and salinity data from thermosalinographs collected from EXPLORER OF THE SEAS assembled by NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) from 2003-01-01 to 2003-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0164198)
Abstract: This dataset contains sea surface oceanographic data in netCDF and ASCII formatted files assembled by the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) from thermosalinographs from 2003-01-01 to 2003-12-31. The data are transmitted to AOML/NOAA in real-time and submitted to a quality control procedure developed at AOML. The dataset submitted to NCEI for distribution constitutes the complete dataset received by AOML with the corresponding flags after quality control. The measured variables or parameters include sea surface salinity, sea surface water temperature (using internal sensor), latitude, longitude and time.
