Title: Biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS15195 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2015-07-14 to 2015-07-15 (NCEI Accession 0163341)
Abstract: This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS15195 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2015-07-14 to 2015-07-15. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Ryan Smith of NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory, and by Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of Western Boundary Time Series (WBTS): 27N. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data.

Supplementary information: NCEI Accession 0086548 contains documentation about data sets submitted to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository program.

One or more of the data packages in this dataset contain an incorrect data license. The R2R team has requested that all such packages must be documented with a Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication. The documentation has been updated accordingly. However, none of the original data files have been changed.

In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number.
