| Abstract: | This dataset includes Surface underway, chemical and meteorological data collected from POLARSTERN in the North Atlantic Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 2016-02-20 to 2016-05-08. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, WIND DIRECTION and WIND SPEED. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement. These data were collected by Mario Hoppema of Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research and Steven van Heuven of Groningen University as part of the VOS_Polarstern_06AQ20160220 and VOS_Polarstern_06AQ20160412 data set.
