Temperature & Precipitation
- National Temperature and Precipitation Maps: 1-Month, 3-Month, 6-Month, 12-Month, and Year-to-Date National, Divisional, Statewide, and Regional Temperature and Precipitation Maps
- Climate at a Glance: Comparisons of meteorological local, state, regional, national, and global data in historical perspective to determine trends
- State of the Climate Monthly Report: The State of the Climate is a collection of monthly summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale.
- Weekly Divisional Products: Maps of weekly temperature and precipitation anomalies, and short term Palmer drought indices are produced from Climate Prediction Center (CPC) data.
- GHCN-Daily: GHCN-Daily is an integrated database of daily climate summaries from land surface stations across the globe. GHCN-Daily is comprised of daily climate records from numerous sources that have been integrated and subjected to a common suite of quality assurance reviews. (FTP Access)
- nClimGrid-Daily: Daily 5km gridded temperature and precipitation data for CONUS
- Climate Data Online (CDO): Free access to NCEI's archive of global historical weather and climate data including GHCN observations, normals, hourly/sub-hourly precipitation data as well as radar products
- Local Climatological Data (LCD): Climatological data for stations and locations within the United States and its territories
- Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS): Automated 1-Minute and 5-Minute, and Hourly Precipitation Data
- Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS): 20-minute data from stations operated and controlled by the Automated Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- U.S. Percentage Areas (Very Warm/Cold, Very Wet/Dry): This product shows, for each month, season and year since 1895, how much of the contiguous United States experienced extreme (top or bottom 10%) temperature and precipitation conditions.
- U.S. Climate Normals: Climate Normals for the latest three-decade averages of climatological variables, including temperature and precipitation
- Daily Weather Records: daily, monthly and all-time records compiled from a subset of GHCN stations
- Integrated Global Radiosonde Archive (IGRA): Radiosonde and pilot balloon observations at over 2,700 globally distributed stations
- State Climate Extremes Committee (SCEC): The State Climate Extremes Committee (SCEC) was created in 2006 in response to the need for proper and comprehensive evaluation of meteorological observations which may have tied or exceeded existing statewide all-time record values. - National Climate Extremes Committee (NCEC): Established in 1997 the NCEC's main goal is to assess the scientific merit of extreme climatological/meteorological events. Records | Reports
