Data Set Description: This is a subset of the Deep Sea Coral Research and Technology Program’s National Database. The data represent observations of corals on Cordell Bank, off California analyzed as part of a Washington State University Master’s Thesis (Pirtle J., 2002) and were provided by Dr. Brian Tissot (). Changes to the original dataset may have been made to conform to the National Database Schema and for quality control purposes. The observations were made during 27 quantitative dives conducted in 2002 with the submersible Delta between 55 – 250 m depth.
