Event coding guide (version 4.4)																																															
Events are divided into four domains. Each domain has a categorizing structure from main category, subcategory, to vocabularies. In the 9-digits code, first 2 digits describe main category, 2 following digits describe subcategory, 3 subsequent digits describe vocabularies, and the last 2 digits for magnitude and time information. 																																															
We keep as much as information in the interpretation of the vocabularies for the best application of the database in varied disciplines. For non-Chinese speakers, main and subcategory (along with M-T info) could be sufficient for basic science analysis.
