DESCRIPTION:
Cariaco Basin G. bulloides Abundance Data
Latitude:		10°45.46' N
Longitude:		64°41.68' W
Bathymetry:		395 m
Variable names:	Depth in core, Age, G. bulloides abundance
Variable units:	cm, calendar year (AD), no. per gram of sediment

The file contains sample depth, age model, and abundance 
(units of no. of individuals per gram of sediment) for the planktic foraminifer 
Globigerina bulloides.  Samples were taken at consecutive 1 mm intervals 
over the length of box core PL07-71 BC (56.4 cm) collected from the 
Cariaco Basin, Venezuela.  The age model is based on a combination of 
varve counts, 210Pb, and accelerator mass spectrometry 14C dates.
