Monthly Tropical Weather Summary NWS Central Pacific Hurricane Center Honolulu HI 645 AM HST Fri Dec 1 2017 For the central North Pacific, between 140W and 180W: There were no tropical cyclones in the Central Pacific Hurricane Center, CPHC, area of responsibility during the month of November. Only two short-lived tropical cyclones were observed in the central Pacific this season, as Tropical Storm Fernanda and Tropical Depression Greg moved into the area from the eastern Pacific in July.
